As it would be, we were welcomed to New Jersey with a flat tire on each of our cars. So the day began with us taking both cars in for a plug in the Jeep and a new tire on the BMW. The BMW also was in need of an oil change as well as new fan belts, so we left that then headed to IKEA. With us downsizing so much one would think we would not need anything. But the fact of the matter is we need more storage systems, a sleeper sofa, a smaller couch for the basement, and other minor things to make living in this home easier. IKEA is so great for small space living. The organization methods are innovative, design friendly, and reasonably priced. I have gone through the catalogue and website and have already picked out a ton of different things to put in our home.
As far as the rest of the day, pretty boring. I did have some FaceTime with Tony, Kristin, and Ella while we were at McDonald's and then later we had some FaceTime with my mom. I am so glad she bought an IPod Touch. This way she will not miss anytime with her granddaughters! Thank goodness for technology.
